In December 2017, The Penrose Club was lucky enough to be one of the local causes supported by the from the Waitrose fundraiser, whereby shoppers receive a token to place in a box of the good cause they’d most like to support. The more tokens a cause gets, the bigger the share of donation it receives of the monthly sum of £1,000.
