The Penrose Club was recently the beneficiary of the Co-op “Local Community Fund”, whereby the Co-op donates 1% of everything their members spend on own branded products and services to local causes.
At the end of their shop in store, hoppers receive a token to place in a box of the good cause they’d most like to support. The more tokens a cause gets, the bigger the share of donation it receives of the monthly sum of £1,000. The Penrose Club is one of these causes in December 2017.
